What to check
Keep original dimensions by default. For a tight target, choose smaller pixels explicitly. Some HEIC variants may not decode in the bundled browser decoder.

Questions about this tool
Will every HEIC file convert?
No. Supported variants can be decoded locally, but unusual or newer encodings may fail. If the decoder cannot read the file, export a JPG from your device and keep the original HEIC.
Does JPG conversion preserve every detail of HEIC?
JPG is a lossy image format, so conversion can change fine detail. Inspect the prepared photo, especially colour transitions and edges, and keep the original if you need its source quality.
Can I keep the original pixel dimensions?
Yes. No change keeps the source dimensions. If those pixels cannot meet your maximum safely, choose Change resolution yourself or a different size limit allowed by your destination.
