What problem does this tool solve?
Your image may exceed a form’s KB limit even when its pixel dimensions are already correct. Resizing pixels unnecessarily can discard detail you still need.
How this tool helps
Choose your own maximum file size and prepare one JPG while keeping original pixels by default. If that combination cannot fit safely, the tool explains the problem so you can deliberately choose new dimensions or another permitted maximum.
When to use it
Use it when your destination specifies a maximum image size in KB. Use the dedicated photo or signature resizer when you also need a minimum KB range.
How to prepare your file
- Enter your maximum KB size and choose No change or Change resolution.
- Upload one clear supported image and wait for the prepared JPG.
- Check the actual bytes, pixel dimensions and preview before downloading.
What to check
A KB maximum is a ceiling, not an exact output size. If keeping the source pixels cannot meet it safely, choose smaller dimensions or a better source.
For an application upload, always compare the prepared file with the current official recruitment notification and portal instructions. Generic settings are helper targets, not official requirements.
Questions about this tool
Will the result have exactly the number of KB I enter?
No. The number is a maximum target. The tool leaves room below the limit and does not pad generic images just to match an exact rounded size. A smaller clear image can be valid.
What if the target cannot be met with my original dimensions?
No change keeps the original pixels. If the maximum cannot be reached safely, select Change resolution to choose smaller dimensions yourself, or use a higher maximum only if the destination permits it.
Can I also set a minimum file size here?
This generic tool is for a maximum, not a minimum-to-maximum range. Use the photo or signature resizer, or the Image Format Converter, when your destination specifies both limits.
Are my selected files sent to a server for processing?
Preparation runs in your browser; the selected file is not uploaded to SarkariEasy for processing. Download the prepared result before leaving the page and keep your original file for comparison.
