What to check
The combined image has its own byte size. Check both the face and writing in its preview. For separate upload fields, download the two source results instead.
For an application upload, always compare the prepared file with the current official recruitment notification and portal instructions. Generic settings are helper targets, not official requirements.

Should I combine every application photo and signature?
No. Combine them only when the destination asks for one image. A form with two upload fields needs separate photo and signature files.
Where does the signature appear in the combined JPG?
The photo is above the signature. Review the combined image itself rather than only the separate previews, and compare that arrangement with your destination’s instructions.
Is the combined file size just the sum of the two inputs?
No. The joined JPG is encoded as a new image and has its own byte size and dimensions. Check those result measurements before using it in an upload field.
Are my selected files sent to a server for processing?
