This helper uses a 100,000-byte ceiling. The displayed KB measurement is based on 1,024 bytes, so a compliant file can display fewer than 100 KB. File details shows the actual bytes.
Check colour transitions, edges and small text rather than judging the file only by its KB number. A larger permitted maximum may retain more detail, but this tool does not restore a blurred source. Choose the output dimensions from your destination.

Why can my 100 KB file display about 97.7 KB?
The maximum also respects decimal 100,000 bytes, while the size label divides bytes by 1,024. Actual bytes are the clearest value to compare with an upload counter.
What if the target cannot be met with my original dimensions?
No change keeps the source pixels. If that size cannot be reached safely, the tool explains the problem. Choose Change resolution to permit smaller pixels, or select another allowed maximum.
Does this page create a PDF under 100 KB?
No. It prepares a JPG image. If your destination asks for PDF, use Photo to PDF Under 100KB and inspect that PDF’s separate output size and readability.
