Common questions

What photo size does ISRO specify for the 2026 Assistant / JPA recruitment?

Section 14.1 of the official advertisement gives a preferred photograph size of 200 × 230 pixels and a file-size range of 20-50 KB for the recent passport-style colour photograph.

What signature size does ISRO specify?

The detailed upload instructions specify a preferred signature size of 140 × 60 pixels and 10-20 KB. The signature should be made with black ink on white paper and should not be written in capital letters.

Why does SarkariEasy tell me to verify the live ISRO portal?

The official advertisement contains an earlier document-upload summary whose file-size wording is inconsistent with the later detailed Section 14.1 instructions. SarkariEasy follows the detailed 20-50 KB photo and 10-20 KB signature instructions, but the live application portal should be treated as the final submission check.

When does the ISRO Assistant / JPA / UDC / Stenographer application close?

Online applications for Advertisement ISRO:ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026 closed on 20 August 2026 following an official deadline extension corrigendum.

How do I resize my ISRO Assistant photo and signature?

Upload either image in its matching card. SarkariEasy prepares the photo to the preferred 200 × 230 px and 20-50 KB range, or the signature to the preferred 140 × 60 px and 10-20 KB range.

Is the ISRO photo and signature resizer free on mobile?

Yes. The tool is free and works in a phone browser without an app. Prepare the file here, then compare it with the instructions shown on the ISRO application portal.

Official instructions remain final: recruitment requirements can change. Compare every prepared file with the current notification, corrigendum and live application field before submission.
