Common questions

What signature size is configured for the RRB JE preset?

The preset prepares a JPG/JPEG signature using 140 × 60 pixels as the working canvas and keeps the final file in the 30-49 KB range.

Why is there no passport-photo upload card on this RRB page?

Current RRB application flows capture the candidate photograph live through the application portal. A pre-existing passport photograph should not be substituted when the CEN asks for live capture.

How should I sign for an RRB application?

Use a black-ink pen on white paper and write your normal running signature. Do not use block, capital or disjointed letters when the current CEN prohibits them.

Should I check the official RRB notice before uploading?

Yes. Compare the prepared signature with the exact CEN and application instructions for the recruitment you are applying to.

Can I resize the RRB signature on my phone for free?

Yes. Open this SarkariEasy page in any phone browser, upload the scanned signature and SarkariEasy prepares it on the 140 × 60 px working canvas and within the 30-49 KB range shown here. The tool is free and runs in your browser.

Does SarkariEasy resize the RRB signature or only compress it?

SarkariEasy adjusts the signature to the 140 × 60 px canvas and keeps the file within 30-49 KB, rather than only compressing the original image.

Official instructions remain final: recruitment requirements can change. Compare every prepared file with the current notification, corrigendum and live application field before submission.
