Common questions

What is the current BTSC photo and signature upload size?

BTSC Pariksha’s current public guideline requires one combined photograph + signature image measuring 3.5 × 6.0 cm, saved as JPE/JPEG/JPG, no more than 50 KB, at 200 DPI in True Colour.

Why does SarkariEasy output 276 × 472 pixels for BTSC?

276 × 472 px is the raster equivalent of the official 3.5 × 6.0 cm size at 200 DPI. BTSC publishes the centimetre size and DPI; it does not separately publish 276 × 472 as a pixel rule.

Can I upload the BTSC photo and signature as two separate files?

The current BTSC public guideline describes one combined scan with the photograph above and a separate signature space below. This preset therefore expects one already-combined image.

What are the BTSC photograph quality rules?

The 2026 advertisements require a recent colour photograph taken within three months, with the full face and head visible, eyes open, a white background, and no shadow.

What size should BTSC supporting certificates be?

The 2026 advertisements require clear scanned certificates in the specified upload fields but do not publish one reliable universal KB limit for every certificate. Check the live field for any field-specific size or format rule.

When does BTSC Advertisement 28/2026 close?

The current BTSC recruitment table lists 23 October 2026 as the registration, payment and application closing date for Advertisement 28/2026.
