Common questions
- Is BPSC OTR the same as applying for BPSC TRE or another recruitment?
- No. BPSC One Time Registration is the reusable candidate profile that must be completed before applying to an active BPSC advertisement. After the OTR profile is completed and locked, the candidate still has to open the relevant advertisement, apply for that recruitment and complete its fee and recruitment-specific steps.
- What information should I complete in the BPSC OTR profile?
- The current BPSC instructions divide the profile into Personal Information, Address Information, Other Information, Qualification Information, Experience Information, Photo and Signature, and Profile Lock. Qualification details start from Class 10 and 12 and continue with higher qualifications as applicable.
- Does BPSC OTR require a passport-photo file upload?
- The current BPSC OTR screen uses Capture Live Photo. The candidate should face the webcam directly with open eyes, proper lighting and a light-colour background, and should avoid headgear, sunglasses, mask, muffler or helmet. No other person should appear in the frame.
- What is the current BPSC English signature requirement?
- The current BPSC portal screen dated 27/09/2026 says the English signature must be below 15 KB, 250-320 pixels wide and 150-220 pixels high.
- What is the current BPSC Hindi signature requirement?
- The current BPSC portal screen dated 27/09/2026 gives the same rule for the Hindi signature: below 15 KB, 250-320 pixels wide and 150-220 pixels high.
- Why does SarkariEasy output BPSC signatures at 300 × 180 pixels?
- BPSC publishes a permitted width and height range rather than one exact pixel size. 300 × 180 pixels sits inside both current ranges. SarkariEasy keeps the generated file safely below 15 KB; the optimizer reserves a small internal margin so the result does not sit on the portal limit.
